Cookie Policy

Effective July 16, 2026

Overview

Segmentline Desk is committed to minimal data practices. This page describes the only client-side storage mechanism this site uses, how it works, and what you can do to manage it.

What We Store

This site stores a single item in your browser's localStorage:

  • sd_cookie_choice — A string value of either accepted or rejected, set when you interact with the cookie banner. This value is used solely to remember your preference so the banner does not appear on subsequent visits. It is never transmitted to any server and is not used for tracking, analytics, or advertising.

What We Do Not Use

Segmentline Desk does not use:

  • Analytics cookies or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no similar services)
  • Advertising or retargeting pixels
  • Session cookies for login or account management
  • Third-party tracking cookies of any kind

Third-Party Requests

Your browser will make requests to the following third-party servers when loading pages on this site:

  • fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com — Google Fonts, used to serve web typography. Google may log standard request data (IP address, browser type) in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
  • upload.wikimedia.org — Wikimedia Commons, used to serve editorial photographs. Wikimedia may log standard request data in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy.

These third-party requests are made by your browser as a result of loading page assets. Segmentline Desk does not share any information with these services beyond what a standard browser request contains.

Managing Your Preference

You can remove the stored preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site. Most browsers offer this option through their developer tools or privacy settings. Doing so will cause the cookie banner to appear again on your next visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if our practices change. Any material changes will be reflected in a revised effective date.
